The Sharepoint Project Management Template from Sync Task
Software adds Outlook syncing functionality to the
Project Tasks list of the popular Budgeting Tracking
Multiple Projects template.
If you have ever tried to set up
the Budgeting Tracking Multiple Projects Fabulous 40
template, you have probably discovered that the Project
Tasks list cannot connect to Outlook.
We have solved this issue by
adding Outlook syncing functionality to the Project
Tasks list.
Our project template contains all of the functionality of the
original Fabulous 40 template, including a project
dashboard and Gantt chart view.
The only difference is that you can now sync Project
Tasks with Outlook.
Like the original template, you
may also sync the Projects List, Project Issues and
Project Milestones with Outlook. Each of these
Sharepoint lists shows up as a separate task list in
Outlook.
You may update all of your lists
from Sharepoint or Outlook and the changes will sync the
next time you perform a Send/Receive in Outlook.
This means that you can
work on your projects offline and upload your changes to
the Sharepoint site by performing a Send/Receive in
Outlook.

prerequisites to run:
- Windows Sharepoint Services 3.0
OR MOSS 2007.
- Application Template Core
Solution must be installed.
- Budgeting Tracking Multiple
Projects Fabulous 40 application template must be
installed.
- Outlook 2007 if you wish to
sync with Outlook.
Note: If you are able to
install and use the Budgeting Tracking Multiple Projects
Fabulous 40 template, then you already have the
Application Template Core Solution installed.
